If you need to make a claim, you can do this through our online claims portal. Our online claims portal allows you to easily tell us what happened, provide necessary quotes and invoices, upload documentation and submit a claim.

What constitutes an emergency? An emergency is an event that poses an immediate risk to the property or the tenant. It is something that, without immediate intervention, will worsen. For example, a house fire or severe flood.

To determine if your enquiry is an emergency, does your situation meet the below criteria:

• Is there immediate risk to the tenant and/or property?
• If you do not seek assistance now, will the situation worsen?

If you answered yes to the above, please contact 1300 585 870. Our after-hours emergency team is available 365 days a year, 24/7 (that includes public holidays!). If your situation is not an emergency (e.g. it is in regards to loss of rent only or a general enquiry), please contact the EBM RentCover team during office hours. 

You can get a quote and apply for cover online. 

IMPORTANT: If you are a Corporate Authorised Representative or Distributor of EBM RentCover (and have access to our online agent portal), you can apply for cover using RCPLive.

You can cancel a policy at any time.

If you no longer need landlord insurance, please email [email protected]. In the subject line, write: Cancel my policy. Then, within the body of the email, please provide the following information:

• Policyholder name
• Address of the insured property
• Reference number (you can find this on your invoice/coverage summary and it starts with EBM RCP)
• Reason for cancellation (e.g. the property has been sold or it is no longer being used as a rental)
• Date the policy should be cancelled 
• Bank account details - this is so we can issue you with a pro-rata refund of your premium (if applicable).

To ensure your cancellation is processed as quickly as possible, please provide the above details. 

Make sure you have your invoice handy so you can easily fill in the correct form. You will also need your credit or debit card details to process the payment. Click here to pay.
