Kaila Races On at RentCover
Whether she’s motoring across the city to meet landlords, peddling hundreds of kilometres for charity or flying thousands of miles to relax, Kaila Webb possesses a purposeful form of wanderlust that directs her both personally and professionally.
As WA’s RentCover Relationship Manager, Kaila assists landlords all over the State, ranging from long-term partners to new landlords seeking product information.
She enjoys hitting the road to see the landlords – whether it be to deliver renewals or conduct agent training on the RentCover products, as well as systems and procedures.
“I really enjoy assisting landlords and helping out wherever I can,” Kaila said. “I used to be a hairdresser, so I love customer service and interacting with people.”
Kaila joined the RentCover division in Melbourne in February 2012 before returning home to Perth in 2013. She was appointed WA Relationship Manager earlier this year.
“Since stepping into the role I’ve tried to simplify some procedures for our landlords wherever possible, while still making sure both the landlords and RentCover are compliant with Financial Services legislation,” she added. “I’m always looking to make improvements wherever possible.”
The fast-paced work suits Kaila who is also busy outside of work preparing for a 200 kilometre bike ride from Perth to Mandurah and back.
“I saw the 2015 MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer online earlier this year and thought it looked like a great challenge,” she said. “I’ve always been very active and started doing triathlons this year, so it seemed like a great thing to do.”
Between her recreational past-times and new work role, Kaila also has her eye on some relaxation in the form of an overseas trip later this year. But, true to form, it is likely to involve some fairly distant travel and active recreation to boot.
