Sharon Fox-Slater

Sharon has worked in the insurance industry for close to 40 years, with three decades dedicated to working at the helm of EBM RentCover. Since starting with the landlord insurance specialist, Sharon has been integral in transforming the business from a small start-up into a leading provider of landlord insurance. In fact, she was part of the core team that helped launch one of Australia’s first landlord insurance policies.

As the first woman in Australia to complete an Advanced Diploma in Insurance Broking, Sharon aims to lead the way. One way she (together with her team) is achieving this is by debunking the myth that insurers never pay out claims. Most proudly, Sharon was instrumental in establishing EBM RentCover’s claims team, including determining the culture, processes and systems that govern how claims are handled. However, it is not just the claims team that Sharon helped to establish and grow. Sharon managed all aspects of EBM RentCover – from administration to relationship management and claims handling. And, as she grew the business, she grew the team to approximately 100 people.

Amazingly, to this day, Sharon’s founding values are still instilled in the interactions of team members!
